By the end of the ranking rounds from 17th to 32nd, the result was released.

The place 17th to 32nd ranked of men’s basketball team in the World Cup are, in the order, South Sudan, France, Japan, Egypt, Finland, New Zealand, Lebanon, Philippines, Mexico, Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, the Republic of Cape Verde, China, Venezuela, Iran and Jordan.
Egypt, Finland, New Zealand, Lebanon, Philippines, Mexico, Angola and Côte d’Ivoire qualified for the Paris Olympic men’s basketball Wild Card.
