Philippines 12-man confirmed
NBA star Jordan Clarkson and the 21-year-old new star Kai Sotto will lead the Philippines to 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Both of the players are nominated to the list.
The biggest basketball event will be held in Manila, Okinawa and Jakarta at the same time.
The other selected players are Japeth Aguilar, June Mar Fajardo, AJ Edu, Jamie Malonzo, CJ Perez, Roger Pogoy, Dwight RamosR, henz Abando, Kiefer Ravena and Scottie Thompson.
Japeth Aguilar played for the Philippines team the longest. He is also the leader of the team.
However, the good players like Chris Newsome, Thirty Ravena, Bobby Ray Parks and Calvin Oftana were selected to the 16-man list rather than the 12-man lineup.
The Philippines will face the Dominican Republic on Friday, August 25th, officially opening the 2023 Basketball World Cup.
