Christian David used to play in the NCAA Butler Bulldogs of the U.S.
Christian David was born in the Philippines. He was named one of the most promising players in the U.S. college basketball in 2017 by the U.S. media.
He is now 25 years old with a height of nearly 190 cm. He appeared in the PBA Draft, which attracted curiosity and intrigue from teams across the PBA.
Christian David didn’t join the matches, but spoke to the PBA coaches one by one. He spoke with Elasto Painters, who own the third and fourth picks of the draft and NLEX, the sixth pick, also got a request for training.
According to the sources, he chose to not show up, maybe because he had already spoken to Timplados Hotshots, Blackwater Elite, etc.
PBA reached a cooperation agreement.
The news of Christian David returning isn’t a secret.
From the interview last year, he said, “I’ve always wanted to play for the Philippines and in the Philippines, so I decided that the PBA is a good fit for me. And I’m excited to play in front of all the fans and let’s see what happens,”
